Professional Summary
Samantha Knaub Huesman is a certified Somatic Trauma Informed Coach and a Multi Style Yoga Instructor. She also has a Bachelor Degree in English with emphasis on Creative Writing and a Minor in Psychology. Samantha is passionate about somatic-based practices and healing trauma holistically through a dual body-mind approach. She offers somatic coaching sessions, yoga sessions, and extended hybrid sessions. The hybrid sessions are a blend of coaching, yoga asana, as well as pranayama (breath work), and meditation.
Samantha spent the past decade of her life in Zambia as the Executive Director of a non-profit organization focused on promoting gender equity and providing education, nutrition, health, and empowerment services to vulnerable communities. In 2023, Samantha decided she wanted to shift her career from the NGO sector to the health and wellness world. She has worked part-time with various coaching and yoga clients since 2024. Samantha received her Somatic Trauma-Informed Coaching Certification and specialized certification in Narcissistic Abuse through Caroline Strawson’s School of Trauma Informed Positive Psychology. Samantha is currently writing a book about how to heal trauma through befriending your body, embracing your parts, and regulating your nervous system.
